Nobix Alert

Installing Alert Server

Nobix Alert Server installation consists of a single setup program, which is downloaded from the Nobix Alert Download Page, Nobix Alert Server link. The setup program may be downloaded and run directly from the Nobix web site, or may be downloaded, saved, and then run at a later time. The setup program should be run on the machine that the installation is planned for.

Alert Server requires an activation key to be entered before it may be used. The installation can be completed without the key, however the software will not be able to be started until after the key is entered. After installation a key may be entered by using the Windows Start menu, All Programs, Nobix Alert, Tools, and then selecting Activate Software.

If you already have the activation key in hand, plan on about 20 minutes to complete the installation. If you run into difficulty, please contact Nobix Support at 1-925-659-3500, 8:30 - 5:00 PST.

After downloading and starting the Alert Server setup program, the following dialog is displayed

  4. Install SQL Server Instance
