Downloading & Installing Nobix Alert nAlert on a Windows computer
- Click the Nobix Alert
link.
- Click the Nobix Alert Command Line Alerter for Windows
download link.
- Do one of the following:
- To run Windows installer file for Nobix Alert nAlert immediately upon completing
the download, click Open.
- To copy the download to your computer for setup at a later time, click Save. When
prompted, specify the directory into which you want to save the Nobix Alert installation
file.
- To cancel the download, click Cancel.
- If you have not already done so above, run the Nobix Alert nAlert Windows installer
file that you downloaded. You can do this by running the installer file you downloaded
at a command prompt or double-clicking the file in Windows Explorer.
- The Nobix Alert nAlert Setup Wizard appears. Follow the on-screen instructions to
install Nobix Alert nAlert on your computer. These instructions include entering
the software activation key that either
you generated or was provided to you.
- nAlert is a command line program and is not designed to be run as a Windows dialog.
Please make a note of where the program is installed to, as this location will be
necessary when you incorporate the program into your other software and systems.
On 32 bit systems the default pathname for installation is:
C:\Program Files\NobixAlert\bin\nalert.exe
On 64 bit systems the default pathname is:
C:\Program Files (x86)\NobixAlert\bin\nalert.exe
