ElectroPage Helpful Hints
- How can I delete a sub-level folder without losing the reports defined in it?
This can be accomplished by creating the same sub-level folder name under the top-level
or under a sub-level folder above where it currently resides. This will place that
folder and its contents at the newly defined level. You can then delete the sub-folder
you wanted removed. NOTE - Do NOT name the sub-level folder the same name as the
top-level folder.
- I highlight a sub-folder in "Configure Folder Organization", press Return, and
no reports show up. Why?
The Configure Folder Organization menu is meant to define the folder and what reports
it will hold. To actually view reports contained in a folder, you would go into
STATUS and REPORT mode, highlight the folder where the reports were defined to reside,
press RETURN and a listing of the available reports is displayed. You can then highlight
the report and press RETURN again to view it.
- I am using Reflection on my PC and when in REPORT mode in STATUS I try to Print
by Page, the output doesn't print correctly. Why?
There is a feature in Reflection that must be activated for Print by Page to work
properly. In Reflection, use your mouse to click on "FILE" in the menu at the top
of your screen. Next, click on "Printer Setup" in the file menu. The "Printer Setup"
box will be displayed. Highlight the "Bypass Windows Printing" option and then click
on OK. Now tab to OKAY in the Report modes' Print by Page interface and press RETURN.
Additionally, the file STATUSI.PUB.NSD file has default printing environment parameters
for STATUS. You will want to ensure this file is set up correctly.
